Ibstock’s Class B Engineering bricks are a smooth perforated red wire cut brick used particularly where strength and / or durability are essential.They are widely used below DPC level in footings and manhole cover surroundings.They can also be used for face work and feature brickwork around windows & door reveals because of their clean smooth appearance.

Suits both contemporary and traditional build projects. Durability – F1/S2 Manufacturing process – Pressed. Smooth texture.  F1 brick is moderately frost resistance/durability –
Areas of concern include exposed garden and retaining walls, cills, cappings, chimneys and copings, and between ground level and a damp proof course. An F2 brick has a higher degree of frost resistance.

Commons London Brick Facing Brick

This original London Brick sometimes known as a fletton has been used for over 130 years and is a tried and tested brick, it does not have a decorative face like many bricks but can still be used as a facing brick if required, main uses are more functional, below DPC, non visible walls, garden use, outbuildings etc.
