Quinn Therm PIR Insulation is a high performance, fibre free board, with a rigid thermoset insulation core and faced on both sides with a low emissivity composite foil facing. The high compressive strength of Quinn Therm QF enables it to withstand the dead and imposed loads transmitted through the floor. Quinn Therm PIR is suitable for new build and refurbishments projects in both domestic and commercial build. With specific properties that optimise the performance of underfloor heating. For suspended timber floors in particular, Quinn Therm PIR reduces heat loss by an air infiltration method, making it the ideal solution for upgrading the thermal performance of existing floors. These low emissivity facings increases its thermal resistance of unventilated air space adjacent to the insulation, improving the roof’s overall thermal performance. XR4000 is a rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation board with high thermal performance. Available up to 200mm thick, low U-values can be achieved without doubling-up insulation layers. Celotex boards are lightweight and rigid; making them easy to handle, transport, and fit on site, and suitable for applications including: ● Ground floors – whether solid concrete, block and beam, or suspended timber joist, and including where underfloor heating is used. ● Timber and steel framed walls – between the studs. ● Pitched roofs – between the rafters. ● Flat roofs – in ventilated cold roof constructions, installed from inside the building. ● Other retrofit and refurbishment projects – lining existing timber and masonry structures to make them more thermally efficient.

TB4000 is targeted at cut-to-fit applications between rafters or joists and enables users to achieve lower U-values with a single layer of insulation than has previously been possible. It is also appropriate for use in floors and walls. With low emissivity foil facings, TB4030 is manufactured from rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) using a blend of blowing agents that have zero ozone depletion potential (zero ODP) and low global warming potential (GWP).
