It is specially designed to provide waterproof wrapping for pipe work and ventilation duct work, manufactured from molecular weight polyisobutylene which enables some very useful characteristics including flexibility, durability, UV and ozone-resistance. It can be used over wide temperature range and it is quite easy to install and use since demanding shapes and joints can simply be cut on site. It is available in standard black colour, but also in white but only for internal applications.
